The Fashionable ONES
Best known for creating collage-like pieces to illustrate only the top names (Kanye, Obama and Mickey Mouse), New York/London based artists Craig & Karl have a extensive string of commissioned work which I stumbled upon whilst researching fashion PR. I love the piece above, showcasing the most distinctive images in fashion materialised on 1s. It's so simple, quite comical and definitely fun - main themes in all their creative work.
Craig & Karl's shapes with block colours and simple lines give minimalist representations of brands and people, making the art clear, contemporary and memorable.
This cute gentlemanly brogue illustration also struck me. I can only imagine what conversations they've had throughout the years.
